After Taylor Swift took to TikTok to pay tribute to Shania Twain with the viral "Mama Said" trend inspired by Lukas Graham's single of the same name, Twain has opted to pay the honor forward. Taking inspiration from Swift's own video, Twain shares photos of herself and country legend Dolly Parton.

Captioning her video with "Thank you @taylorswift I appreciate you! Paying this one forward to another trailblazer," and hashtagging Dolly Parton, the video continues a wholesome moment between three musical legends.

Twain's video features old pictures of Parton and videos of the two holding hands while performing on stage, Twain also captioning the beginning of her photo with "country girls can't go pop," just as Swift's had before going into the "Mama Said" lyrics.

Both Twain and Parton have long been influential forces within country music. Kelsea Ballerini cited Twain as an influence for her as well, telling Cody Alan, "They say don't meet your heroes... unless your hero is Shania Twain." Meanwhile, Carly Pearce recalled feeling disbelief when her childhood hero, Parton, invited her to join the Grand Ole Opry.

Twain made headlines when she brought back her iconic "Man I Feel Like a Woman!" music video outfit in April. Wearing the exact same look with only her hair down as a major difference, the Instagram post brought back feelings of major nostalgia for all of Twain's fans.

Meanwhile, Parton recently paid tribute to Kenny Rogers alongside Chris Stapleton, Idina Menzel, Lady A, Lionel Richie, Little Big Town, and Reba McEntire. The special honored Kenny Rogers' impact on country music and brought together those artists influenced by the late singer.
