On Wednesday (July 29), Morris turned to Twitter to share that Lambert sent her and Hayes custom matching jean jackets. The denim jackets feature sparkly fringe with their first names embellished on the back.
"Thank you for this amazing gift @mirandalambert," Morris wrote. "Love you so much and am so proud of you for having the number 1 this week."
The tweet included two photos. The first one shows Hayes wearing the jacket as Hurd holds him up to show it off for the photo. The second image shows both Hayes and Morris' matching jackets laying out next to each other.
Morris' post comes just days after sharing that she will no longer share photos of her son's face on social media. The decision was made after receiving critical comments about a photo of her with Hayes relaxing on a float.
"I'm gonna be a little more private about [Hayes]," Morris said. "It's been so fun sharing photos of him, but I feel like ... you know, I can take someone saying my music sucks or I'm ruining country music, but for some reason, the mother card, I can't emotionally handle right now. So I was like, 'I'm just gonna protect myself and him from it.'"
Lambert isn't the first country star to show Morris and Hayes some love with gifts. Earlier this summer, Carrie Underwood sent them a package full of cute baby gifts including an embroidered, personalized soft baby blanket and blue bib with elephants.
Morris and Hurd, who got married in 2018, welcomed baby Hayes in March of 2020. Since then, the couple has been enjoying their time at home with their newborn.
